Exchange2007 will not send mail certain  addresses
We deployed a new 2007 exchange server, and mail is flowing, but the organization has 2 exchange servers, in 2 locations, one is mail.organization.com, the remote one is mail.organization.net If I am connected through the VPN and open outlook on the .net domain I can send mail to my gmail account, but if I try to send to the .com address I get an undeliverable message error "Delivery has failed to these recipients or distribution lists: [my name] The recipient's e-mail address was not found in the recipient's e-mail system. Microsoft Exchange will not try to redeliver this message for you. Please check the e-mail address and try resending this message, or provide the following diagnostic text to your system administrator. Any Idea how I can get around this problem? Thanks in advance, Peter

You need to explain more about the connection. Are the servers in the same forest, same domain, or are we talking about completely independant systems? Can they see each other on port 25? Its probably routing or DNS, but without more information, hard to say for sure. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP. http://blog.sembee.co.uk , http://exbpa.com/
